Nathan (right) and Josiah are two fun-loving boys in a family of strong faith in God. Both of the boys are avid readers, love video games, and are involved in sports. Nathan is very social and loves to joke; Josiah is the quieter one, and is very sensitive to the feelings and needs of others. In June, their mother Kristi was diagnosed with an inoperable form of cancer. Over the years Kristi has worked part time in order to supplement the family income and still be at home for her boys. She has been a substitute teacher in various schools for the past 13 years. Recently she had accepted a permanent position beginning this fall, but had to back out of the job due to her cancer treatment. Kristi loves life, has been extremely energetic, always reaching out to help people in need and always putting her sons needs first.
